Improve Success Rates for Students with Intensive Practice for Speech-Sound Production Remediation
Deliver rigorous, structured activities to help students achieve their articulation goals related to sound production, auditory discrimination, and the structures and functions of speech.

What is speech-sound production therapy?
Speech-Sound Production Therapy (SSPT) attempts to improve speech sounds by breaking down words into their individual sounds, focusing on the sound in isolation and then moving back up to the word level.

Intervention Scenario: Speech-Sound Production Therapy
Example | Articulation in the Self-Contained Setting
I see multiple students for speech therapy in the autism room. Some have goals to grow their speech production, work on apraxia, or on articulation errors as part of their IEPs.
Example | Articulation in the Therapy Setting
When my students walk into the therapy room, I have my computer open waiting on them and four students sit down at my horseshoe table.
